The journey of Prince Handloom<\/strong> began in 1993<\/strong> under the leadership of Mr. Rajkumar Jain<\/strong>. Before establishing the business, he dedicated time to studying the Indian handloom industry<\/strong> closely. For nearly ten days, he observed weaving units, interacted with weavers, and learned the complete weaving process\u2014from receiving raw materials like yarns<\/strong> to preparatory activities such as winding yarn from hanks to spool bobbins, warping, pirn winding, drafting, denting, and sizing<\/strong>. He also understood post-weaving processes<\/strong> like knotting, trimming, and correcting weaving defects.\nDuring this period, he carefully calculated the initial investment required to set up a handloom unit. With limited resources, he rented a small workspace for just \u20b9400 per month<\/strong>, purchased second-hand handloom machines, warping and winding equipment, basic office furniture, and sourced raw materials from local vendors. Soon after setting up, Prince Handloom received its first job work order<\/strong> for weaving jute and cotton durries<\/strong>. This milestone marked the beginning of the company\u2019s journey in the handloom textile industry<\/strong>. The successful completion of the order built trust, and soon more vendors offered weaving assignments. Despite challenges like frequent rent hikes, which forced the unit to shift locations, the company continued to grow steadily.<\/p><\/div><\/div><\/div>

By 1999<\/strong>, Prince Handloom was officially registered under Sales Tax and other taxation frameworks<\/strong>, strengthening its credibility. Around 2000<\/strong>, the company transitioned from only job work to creating its own range of handloom products, including bedsheets, cushion covers, curtains, diwan sets, table linen, rugs, and durries<\/strong>. By directly approaching vendors in Delhi and neighboring towns, Prince Handloom started building its brand identity. The early 2000s marked the beginning of interstate supplies<\/strong>, expanding the reach of authentic Made in India handloom products<\/strong> across multiple states.<\/p><\/div><\/div><\/div>

To meet the increasing demand, Prince Handloom purchased its first factory in 2003<\/strong> and another in 2004<\/strong>, significantly expanding its production capacity. More skilled artisans and weavers were hired, and operations became more structured. During this period, the company began participating in exhibitions, expos, and trade fairs across India<\/strong>, showcasing its diverse handloom range to a wider audience. This exposure brought larger orders and helped strengthen the company\u2019s reputation as a trusted Indian handloom manufacturer.<\/strong><\/p><\/div><\/div><\/div>

Over time, Prince Handloom also stepped into the export market<\/strong>, supplying to international buyers who valued eco-friendly, handcrafted textiles made in India<\/strong>.
